The natural environment that surrounds us is beautiful and we want to do all in our power to protect this natural habitat and wildlife that is in abundance.  It is not what we do but how we do it. By designing courses to meet your requirements, aims & objectives, we strive to provide in all our courses that they are fun, effective and rewarding, and the learning experience is memorable and benificial to all who participate.

• Open Door Adventure was established in 1992 as an Outdoor Pursuits & Activity Centre and has been run by Dave Orange since day one. This was after a long and distinguished career in the services as a professional Outdoor Pursuits Instructor & Physical Education Teacher (A.P.T.C.).
  
  Dave has a broad wealth of teaching experience and has participated in 35 world-wide expeditions including 10 trips to the Himalayas, he reached 8,000 Mts without oxygen on Mt Everest. He is a technical adviser in outdoor pursuits to organisers of D.of.E. Prince’s Trust, Colleges, Industry & Business.
  Dave's philosophy is to provide the best course possible for each individual, irrespective of age, gender, colour or background, with safety, enjoyment and learning as his key priorities.
  
  All the staff have been carefully selected and trained not only in outdoor pursuits but in teaching, people skills, team building and they have an infectious enthusiasm to pass on their experience and professionalism. All staff have completed a six month outdoor Pursuit Instructor Course with Open Door Adventure.
